Image2Map lets you take an image and render it directly onto maps inside the game, so you can display pictures, logos or artwork on your server. Because the maps it creates are regular map items, players on a vanilla compatible server can see them without installing anything extra.
Creating a map is done with a single command where you choose the size in pixels, whether dithering should be applied, and the image to use. A single map covers 128×128 pixels, and you can also skip the size to use the default. For more control, the preview mode shows a dynamic preview first, where you can switch the dither mode, check or change the size, toggle a grid overlay, and then save the result as items or exit without saving.
Larger images are handled automatically: anything bigger than one map is delivered as a bundle of maps. Click the top-left corner of a set of item frames with that bundle and all the pieces are placed in the right positions, whether the frames are mounted on a wall, the floor or the ceiling.
