SCS Software has shared the results of this year’s Pinktober charity campaign for Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator. Throughout October, players bought Pink Ribbon Charity Packs for both games to support breast cancer awareness, and the studio confirmed on 6 November that the campaign raised 32,000 USD.
As in past years, all proceeds from the charity packs go to the Alliance of Women with Breast Cancer, an organisation that supports people affected by the disease. SCS Software said the total came from every pack purchased plus the community sharing screenshots and spreading the word during October.
The studio thanked everyone who took part, whether through buying a pack, posting creations, or just talking about the cause. It also pointed out that breast cancer awareness is not something that should only come up in October, encouraging players to keep supporting regular check-ups and conversations about the topic throughout the year.
What this means for ETS2 and ATS mod users
The Pink Ribbon Charity Packs are cosmetic DLC, so they do not touch core game files and should not cause conflicts with existing mods. If you picked one up during Pinktober, it is worth checking that your mod list still loads correctly after any recent game patches, since unrelated updates can sometimes shift mod compatibility even when a DLC itself is harmless.
As always, back up your mod folder and profile before installing new content, charity pack or otherwise. That way, if anything does clash after a future update, you can roll back without losing your save.
SCS Software said it hopes to see the community back for another Pinktober campaign in the future, without giving a specific date.
