Durability Viewer Updated puts the state of your gear right on the screen. Armor and tool durability numbers are colored green, white, yellow or red depending on their condition, and items that are almost undamaged show the damage taken instead, so a pickaxe used five times reads -5. That makes it easy to see exactly how much repair is left when using Mending.
The HUD also shows how many inventory slots are still empty, so you know whether to keep mining or head back to your chests, and it lists how long your active potion effects will last without opening the inventory. A warning sound plays when a tool is close to breaking, with the thresholds adjustable in the settings, so you never lose a valuable pickaxe by accident.
An optional feature changes the game window title to your username and server, which helps when running several game instances. All options can be changed through the ModMenu settings screen, and the mod has been profiled and optimized to avoid slowing down your game.
