In the base game your character can hold an item without ever really looking like they are holding it. Hold My Items Reforged renders your character’s arm whenever an item is in hand, giving the impression that it is physically being held, just like in real life. It is a subtle change on paper, but it adds a large amount of immersion to normal play.
Both hands are covered. The main-hand arm appears while you hold an item, and the off-hand arm is drawn with proper animation and orientation rather than being left out. Contextual animations adapt to what you are doing, whether that is swimming, crawling, climbing, or holding something like a lantern or a map.
The mod is fully client-side, which means it never has to be installed on a server and can be dropped straight into a modpack. It stays lightweight, works alongside most other mods, and adds support for the MB-3D Items Pack once the matching config value is changed.
