Vanilla Minecraft gives every action a single key, which turns into a nuisance the moment you want the same control in two comfortable places on the keyboard, or one hand on the mouse and one on the keys doing the same job. Multi Key Bindings removes that limit without introducing a separate interface: a plus button appears beside each entry in the key binds screen the game already has, and clicking it adds another binding for that action.
Modifier keys come with it. Left and right shift, control and alt can be attached to a bind, so combinations such as Shift plus K become possible and a single key can do double duty depending on what is held down alongside it. Toggle actions get their own treatment, since a key can be bound to flip the sticky toggle mode of things like auto jump, sticky sneak and sticky sprint instead of triggering the action itself.
Because it all sits on top of the native key binds screen, the mod stays out of the way and works alongside Controlling, so searching and sorting still cover every binding from one place. Two niche limits are worth knowing about: an inventory opened with a mouse button cannot be closed by that same button the way a key would, and Pick Block on a key does not support the drag-to-duplicate trick that a mouse bind allows.
