Create Crafts & Additions is a technology add-on built around a single idea: letting electricity and Create’s kinetic energy talk to each other. The Electric Motor turns Forge Energy into rotational force, while the Alternator runs the process backwards and generates Forge Energy from kinetic energy at 75% efficiency. Crafting either one starts at the Rolling Mill, a kinetic machine that produces the rods and wires the rest of the mod is built from.
Around that core sits a small power grid. Connectors and wires move energy from block to block, the Redstone Relay switches the flow on and off with a redstone signal, and the multiblock Accumulator stores whatever you do not use straight away. A Portable Energy Interface transfers power into and out of contraptions, the Tesla Coil recharges electric items and can also damage players and mobs, and the Creative Generator supplies a limitless amount of Forge Energy.
There is plenty beyond the wiring. Biomass, Biomass Pellets, Seed Oil and Bioethanol arrive as new fuel materials, Straw applied to a Blaze Burner gives it the ability to burn liquid fuels, and extras such as Barbed Wire, Diamond Grit Sandpaper and Chocolate and Honey Cake round out the item list. The Digital Adapter opens the build to ComputerCraft, so computers can talk to various Create blocks.
Recipes line up with several other large Minecraft tech mods, including Immersive Engineering, Mekanism, Tinkers Construct and Simple Jetpacks 2, and the Tesla Coil can charge Certus Quartz for Applied Energistics 2. Every recipe is available through JEI, so anything can be looked up in game without leaving your world.
