RFTools Control is the automation brain of the RFTools family. Rather than hand wiring every decision, you build a program on a visual grid: opcodes are placed into cells and arranged into the sequence the machine follows. It is programming without a text editor, and it slots straight into a modded Minecraft base.
The two blocks at the heart of the mod are the programmer and the processor. The programmer is where a program is created and edited, while the processor is the block that actually runs it in the world. Programs can shift items between inventories, drive redstone and check how much RF energy is available, so one processor takes care of both the item handling and the signalling.
Programs are not limited to plain inventories. The mod can also reach into a system run by a storage scanner, so item handling covers a whole networked storage setup instead of one container at a time. Networking between the control blocks is part of the package, and the whole system runs on Forge for Minecraft 1.10.2.
