Create: Connected is an add-on for the Create mod that adds the quality-of-life blocks you keep wishing were already there. Clutches and gearboxes tidy up kinetic power, diodes and transmitters cover the redstone side, and rotated vaults and tanks let you fit storage and fluids into awkward spaces, all in one package aimed squarely at technical Create builds.
Nothing is forced on you. A feature toggle system exposes the whole mod in the configs, so any block you dislike can be disabled outright, and anything that feels too strong for your setup, such as a horizontal tank, can be nerfed instead of removed. That makes it straightforward to fit into a modpack built around a specific balance.
There is also a layer of small enhancements to Create itself: an improved Sequenced Gearshift and Attribute Filter, functional blocks that keep working while riding a contraption, and schematics that can be organised into sub-folders. The Kinetic Battery holds its charge in item form and releases only the stress units the network actually needs, while the Inventory Bridge honours its filters when items are pulled through it, which doubles as a way to control what a stock link network can see.
This build targets NeoForge on Minecraft 1.21.1 and is a 6.47 MB download. One thing is worth knowing beforehand: running it alongside Create: Extended Cogwheels does not break any functionality, but that mod treats Connected’s components as cogwheels, which causes confusing visual glitches.
