Anyone who has written a serious command in Minecraft knows the routine: a single endless line, arrow keys held down to reach the middle of it, and a copy-paste trip to external software whenever the NBT gets deep. Better Command Block UI addresses exactly that by overhauling the command block screen into something you can read and edit in game.
The command field spans multiple lines, indents itself based on parentheses, colour-codes nested NBT data and wraps long lines, with both horizontal and vertical scrolling for the parts that still do not fit. Selection and erasing were rebuilt too: click and drag to select, double click to grab a word, and Ctrl-erase removes actual words instead of wiping all the NBT. The layout adapts to your UI scale and window dimensions, so the editor stays usable at any resolution.
The rest of the screen was reorganised around the same idea. The type, conditionality, power mode and output tracking buttons became compact icons with tooltips, a new button switches between the command and its output, and chain navigation buttons step backwards and forwards through a command block chain without leaving the interface; when several blocks point into the current one they are all listed with their direction as a tooltip, and the one in line is shown first. Saving works from a button or with Ctrl+S, and auto-saving can be enabled for closing the screen or moving along the chain.
A separate tools window adds a rotation selector that outputs radians and a colour selector that gives both an integer and a hex code, while an area selector keybind on the semicolon lets you mark two opposite corners of a volume and puts the matching coordinate and delta selector in your clipboard. Indentation behaviour is fully configurable through a settings screen with ModMenu support. Because the mod is entirely clientside, it takes the command as received from the server and only displays it across several lines, never adding real line breaks to it, and it works alongside helpers such as NBT Autocomplete, Component Utils, Better Suggestions and Better Highlighting.
