- Create addon adding new kinetic machines alongside metal rods, wires, sheets and springs
- Sheets are pressed from ingots, rods are shaped from plates and wires are drawn from rods
- Rolling Mill replaces the rod and wire crafts when Create Crafts & Additions is installed

Vintage Improvements extends the kinetic side of Create with a workshop of new machines and a full chain of metal intermediates. Sheets are pressed from ingots, rods are shaped from those plates, and wires are drawn from rods, giving modpack authors a tidy set of parts that slot straight into custom recipes. When Create Crafts & Additions is installed, the workbench crafts for rods and wires give way to rolling them in the Rolling Mill instead.
The Belt Grinder is the centrepiece machine, adding grinder polishing recipes that care about how fast you drive them. Every recipe carries a speed limit of any, low, medium or high, so Polished Rose Quartz only forms at 16 RPM or less, and pushing past the limit stops the recipe and, where the config allows it, destroys the input outright. The config can also pick up sandpaper polishing recipes automatically and assign speed limits to them, while the belt’s own appearance is swapped by right-clicking it with sand paper.
Around it sits a whole production line. The Spring Coiling Machine handles coiling recipes for full-size and small springs, the Compressor pairs with a Basin and switches between Vacuumizing and Pressurizing with a Wrench, and the Centrifuge needs four Basins before it will run its centrifugation recipes. The Vibrating Table adds vibrating recipes with optional unpacking of storage blocks, the Curving Press takes interchangeable Curving Heads, the Lathe turns parts with recipes a Recipe Card can automate, and the Laser cuts materials while drawing Forge Energy from whichever energy mod you have installed.
New materials come with the machines. Crushing Azurine, Scoria or Scorchia yields Sulfur Chunks that combine into Sulfur and burn on the way to Sulfuric Acid, while Copper Sulfate pressed from a copper ingot doubles as bone meal, and Vanadium from crushed Crimsite, Basalt or Tuff works in a Beacon or as an armor trim material. Rods, wires, springs and sheets are not tied to vanilla metals either: materials from Ad Astra, Mekanism, Tinkers’ Construct, Thermal Expansion, Destroy, Twilight Forest, Create Big Cannons and The Factory Must Grow all work, with Apotheosis socketing handled through the Helve Hammer. The Forge build targets Minecraft 1.20.x.
