Fps Booster Command adds exactly one thing to Minecraft: a chat command written /fps max. Run it and the game stops drawing everything that is not absolutely required to keep running, leaving only the interface on screen while the frame counter climbs far past what a normal world produces.
It is a joke, and it says so plainly. The figures quoted for it — around 280 FPS rising to roughly 1500 FPS in one personal test — come from nothing being rendered any more, not from the game suddenly being optimised. Behind the GUI the screen simply goes black, and the numbers can differ from one case to the next.
Treat it as entertainment rather than a fix for a slow game. It is worth a look if you want to see what a frame counter does when the renderer has nothing left to draw, and beyond that single command it adds nothing else to the game.
