Station Decoration, usually shortened to MSD, is a decoration add-on that extends the Minecraft Transit Railway mod. Rather than adding new rolling stock, it concentrates on everything around the track, from the wiring above the rails to the signs and PIDS units that dress a station.
The catenary decoration is the headline item here, and overhead wires alone make a rail corridor read as a proper electrified line instead of a bare track. Railway signs and PIDS then finish the station itself, turning a plain platform into somewhere that looks properly signposted.
Because the add-on sits directly on top of the transit railway mod, the two have to line up. From release 1.3.5 onward the minimum supported MTR version is 4.0.0-beta-8, and the mod loader, the game version and the MTR version all need to correspond. Backing up your world before moving to a new version is the safe habit here.
