Do a Barrel Roll rebuilds elytra flight around a completely unlocked camera. Instead of the usual limited look controls you get real pitch, yaw and roll: the mouse handles roll and pitch, the strafe keys swing you around the yaw axis, and the defaults can be changed. Subtle camera work, including smoothing and banking, makes gliding feel semi-realistic rather than like standard Minecraft flight.
The mod is lightweight and fully client-side, so a single install is enough to change how you fly. A config screen exposes a wide range of options, including custom mouse behaviour, sensitivity, the strength of modifiers such as banking, and restrictions on when the elytra controls take over.
Installing it on a server as well syncs the visual side, so other players can see your player model roll as you fly. Every combination remains valid: modded and unmodded clients can share the same server, and players without the mod simply keep their own view of flight. The underlying flight physics are never modified, so anticheat is rarely an issue, although manoeuvres like loop de loops look like rapid camera movement to the server and may still get you flagged.
