Hbm’s Nuclear Tech Mod puts technology, atomic science and nuclear weapons at the centre of the game. A large tech tree carries progression across a great many machines and several different types of reactor, while the industrial side handles ore extraction, part assembly and oil refining, so there is plenty to build up before the atomic hardware comes into play.
Reactors are the centrepiece. The designs on offer run from the Chicago Pile to the infamous RBMK and on to fusion reactors, and the list does not stop there. Built on top of that output are nuclear bombs, missiles and artillery, along with turrets, traps and other defensive systems, while abandoned structures and dungeons scattered through the world give you somewhere to explore.
Handling this much hardware has a price: radiation, flammable gasses and lung diseases are all present as hazards, so caution becomes part of the job. The mod needs no special dependencies and fits into the wider 1.7.10 ecosystem — Not Enough Items can show almost all of its recipes, which is crucial for using the mod in survival, OpenComputers can monitor and control some machines, and Ore Dictionary support keeps equivalent materials usable between mods.
