Ceramics turns clay from a decorative afterthought into a real early game material. It started life as a single clay bucket and grew into a set of tools, fluid blocks and building blocks that stay useful long after iron. Terracotta buckets carry cool liquids without trouble but crack when filled with something hot, and a cracked bucket breaks the next time it is emptied, so hot fluids are effectively a one trip job. Terracotta plate armor covers the awkward stretch before iron when leather is hard to come by.
The fluid side is where the mod does most of its work. Cisterns store liquids and stack vertically, with every extension placed on top adding its own capacity to the barrel below, and they come in all 17 clay colours as well as 16 porcelain versions that hold more per barrel. Faucets pour into the block underneath them, by hand or on a redstone signal, and channels carry the fluid onward with a direction you can set for each side. Gauges placed on the side of any tank, including tanks from other mods, report what is inside and how much of it there is.
Every fluid block comes in two grades. Terracotta handles cool liquids freely but cracks over time under heat, though raw clay repairs it, while porcelain is heat resistant and moves hot fluids without damage. For building there is porcelain in pastel shades, white porcelain bricks, and six fancy brick styles running from dark factory reds and monochrome greys to golden, marine, lava and dragon bricks, each of them available as slabs, stairs and walls. Rainbow clay and bricks add a gradual colour animation, with the clay coming in eight variants depending on where the animation starts.
