Ice and Fire: Spellbooks is a bridge between two large mods, taking the dragons and materials of Ice and Fire: Dragons and wiring them into the spellcasting framework of Iron’s Spells and Spellbooks. Instead of adding a separate system of its own, it makes the gear from one mod meaningful inside the other, which is exactly what a setup running both of them needs.
The headline addition is a full run of mage armor sets, one for every Dragonsteel type, so Dragonsteel turns into caster equipment rather than melee gear alone. A legendary spellbook and a dedicated Dragon Priest staff round out the casting side of the compatibility work.
Dragon Priest masks are the exploration reward. They turn up inside male dragon dens, in end cities and in ancient cities, which sends spellcasters into three very different kinds of structure to complete a set. The mod targets Minecraft 1.20.x on Forge, with builds also released for 1.19.2 and 1.21.1.
