Forgotten Relics Unofficial is an addon that ties Thaumcraft 4 gameplay together with Botania, pulling content across from one into the other and expanding on it. What comes out of that bridge is a set of powerful relics aimed squarely at the stretch of a Minecraft playthrough where the basics are long finished and progress needs something with more weight behind it.
Most of the relics are combat oriented and meant to give you something to lean on in a fight, while a smaller number are built for utility work instead. The mod stops short of prescribing how any of them should be used, so the same relic can end up as a battle trump card in one world and a convenience tool in another.
Both Thaumcraft 4 and Botania have to be installed for the addon to work, since all of its content grows out of the two of them. Development on the original project was frozen indefinitely in December 2020, and this version is a maintained continuation whose job is to patch the bugs that were left behind.
