The vanilla Ender Dragon settles into a loop most players learn in a single run: circle the island, perch, breathe, repeat. Ender Trigon breaks that rhythm by giving the dragon three heads and a far more aggressive routine, with more frequent strafing runs, more fireballs, and a randomly chosen special attack after every pass instead of a lazy return to the centre.
Four attacks fill that slot. Charge sweeps in with flaming breath while one of the extra heads spits glowing purple fire in rapid succession. Snatch grabs the player in a spare mouth, carries them over the end podium and lets go. Crash sends the dragon drilling into blocks, setting off explosions and flinging terrain into the air. Dive bomb showers eggs that spawn baby ender dragons which hunt the player with phantom-like behaviour.
The three heaviest attacks announce themselves first: the dragon roars, hangs motionless and points at its target before committing, so the fight rewards reading the boss rather than swinging blindly. The more end crystals are left standing, the likelier the charge attack becomes, and perching now follows four attacks instead of striking at random, which keeps the encounter moving.
There is a reward buried in the chaos as well. An egg dropped during a dive bomb can be placed to hatch a baby ender dragon of your own, and a craftable dragon horn keeps the hatchlings under control once they are yours. The mod runs on NeoForge for Minecraft 1.20.x as a full rework of the game’s final boss.
