Marium’s Soulslike Weaponry brings a Souls-inspired endgame to Minecraft, with more than 40 legendary weapons and a set of bosses that hit far harder than anything vanilla puts in your way. The arsenal draws on Norse mythology and other game titles, so one world can hold Mjölnir and the Sword of Freyr alongside a Moonlight Greatsword, a Forlorn Scythe, a Whirligig Sawblade and a Hunter Cannon.
Progression runs through Lord Souls. Killing one of the mod’s bosses, or the vanilla Wither or Ender Dragon, drops a Lord Soul, and most of the legendary weapons are crafted from them. Combat itself gains depth from a shield parry mechanic and a posture meter that inflicts Posture Break once it fills, with guns and the Stagger enchantment adding posture loss of their own.
Each boss has its own setting and gimmick. The Decaying King holds the throne room of a ruined nether city, Old Champion’s Remains switches between shield defence and relentless attacks before the Frenzied Shade emerges, and the Returning Knight reflects projectiles back at you until he turns Unbreakable at half health.
Beyond them wait the Fallen Icon summoned on the Old Moon Altar, the Monarch of Chaos that turns the grass around it into Withered Grass Blocks, and the Day Stalker and Night Prowler duo, where killing one empowers the other into a harder second phase. Nearly everything is adjustable in the config file, from boss health through to weapon damage and ability cooldowns.
