No Darkness Effect is a simple client-side Minecraft mod with one clear goal: getting rid of the Darkness status effect. When the Warden applies Darkness, your view normally fills with a pulsing, pitch black fog that makes it hard to see anything around you.

With this mod installed, that effect is removed entirely, so you keep a clear view while exploring deep dark areas and ancient cities. Because it runs purely on the client, it is a lightweight addition for NeoForge players on version 1.21.8.
