More Chest Variants replaces the one-size-fits-all wooden chest with a dedicated chest for every wood type. Each chest has its own design, so your storage rooms and builds can stay consistent with the style of the wood you are using.
The mod aims to add these chests in the most vanilla way possible. With Quad support, the new chests can be burnt as fuel in a furnace, except for the nether wood versions, which are instead immune to fire and lava. Any of the chests can also be used in vanilla recipes such as the Hopper.
As a small bonus, special Star Wars textures appear on the chests every year between May 3rd and May 5th. The mod also works with Chested Companions, letting your pets carry little chests made from your favourite wood.
