Chiseled bookshelves are one of the tidiest storage blocks in Minecraft, but they give away almost nothing about what is actually inside them. Chiseled Bookshelf Visualizer solves that by drawing the contents of the shelf you are looking at right under your crosshair, so one glance is enough to see what type of book is stored there.
The display does more than list items. It separates the book types instead of lumping them together, so normal books, enchanted books and feathered books each show up distinctly, and the contents are sorted automatically. For a full wall of shelves in a library, that turns a slow shelf-by-shelf check into a single look and a quick pick.
The mod works in singleplayer straight away, and for multiplayer it simply needs to be present on the server as well. It runs on NeoForge for Minecraft 1.21.1 and weighs roughly 0.05 MB, which makes it one of the cheapest quality-of-life additions you can drop into an existing storage-heavy setup.
