Backpacks! brings straightforward extra storage to Minecraft without breaking the look of the vanilla game. The packs are designed to feel like part of the base game, so the additional carrying space fits naturally into a survival world instead of standing out as a modded gadget.
Upgrading, dyeing and styling are all part of the package. A pack can be improved as your world develops, coloured to match the rest of your kit, and given a different style so each player’s backpack stays recognisable at a glance.
The mod runs on Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt for Minecraft 1.21.1, with Fabric API needed on the Fabric and Quilt side. Six languages ship with it — English, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, European Portuguese, Simplified Chinese and Russian — and more languages can be added by community translators.
