Et Futurum Requiem is a backport project for Minecraft 1.7.10, carrying blocks, items and mechanics from far newer releases back into an old world without asking you to give up the mods you already run. Each backport aims to stay true to the original, sit gracefully in the old game and stay light, and it slots in as a full replacement for the original Et Futurum mod.
On the building side the list is long: deepslate ores with modded ore support and a proper deepslate layer during world generation, amethyst geodes with configurable outer layers, fossils with a configurable bone block, blackstone, nether gold ore, netherite tools and armor, cherry and bamboo wood, floor and ceiling buttons, colored beacon beams that recognise modded stained glass, and a full spread of new stairs, slabs, walls, wood variant fences, gates, pressure plates, buttons and signs.
Gameplay additions go beyond decoration. Spectator mode and the F3+F4 game mode switcher return, spawners can be egged, shulkers can be set to spawn naturally through the tweaks config, 1.9 rowboats are in, and enchanting picks up the 1.8 fuel slot and level consumption behaviour. The blast furnace, smoker, composter and enchanting fuels all come with native CraftTweaker support, so recipes can be adjusted without a separate tweaking addon.
There is no exhaustive feature wiki, because the config itself is the list: browse it and you can see and disable every single block, item and entity the mod introduces. UniMixins is required alongside it. One migration note is worth knowing before updating an old save, since the connecting behaviour of the old duplicate oak fence now lives on the vanilla fence, and converting those fences first avoids a missing ID message.
