Eden Ring Reforked adds a science-fiction dimension unlike anything in vanilla Minecraft: a colossal ring encircling a blue gas giant, sitting in the habitable zone of its star. Strange gravity anomalies let the ring hold on to an atmosphere of its own, so the surface looks like it could support some form of life. The only question left is what you can find in this new world.
Twelve biomes fill the ring, together with four new wood types and a first new mob. Gravity control mechanics are part of the package, and a custom sky and weather renderer gives the dimension a look that has nothing to do with the Overworld. It is a maintained continuation of the original Eden Ring rather than a straight copy of it.
Getting there means building the portal first. You need twelve waxed copper blocks, twelve waxed cut copper stairs, four blocks of amethyst, four amethyst clusters and a gold block, arranged into the correct frame, then lit by striking the central gold block with flint and steel.
Work on the dimension is still ongoing. Animals and further mobs, cave systems, life beneath the islands, more unique biomes and mechanics, and an in-game guide book are all on the roadmap, so the ring is set to grow well past what is in it today.
