RFTools Dimensions is the world-building half of the RFTools family. Rather than searching for a way into a new world, you assemble the machines yourself and spend RF energy to open one, which turns world generation into something you plan and build like any other piece of technology.
The worlds it produces cover a wide range of landscapes. Ravine dimensions, floating islands, massive cave systems and terrain dotted with lava and orbs of ore all show up, so a freshly opened dimension can look nothing like the one you left behind.
Everything runs on RF, which means a solid energy setup is the real prerequisite for opening new worlds. The mod is an add-on rather than a standalone package, so RFTools belongs in the pack next to it, and this build targets Minecraft 1.10.2 on Forge.
