Dynamic Trees – Biomes O’ Plenty is the bridge between two mods that would otherwise ignore each other. It gives the Biomes O’ Plenty tree roster dynamically growing counterparts and swaps the static originals out during world generation, so a freshly created world is already filled with trees that grow instead of standing still.
Twenty-one tree types are covered, from Palm, Maple, Jacaranda, Flowering Oak and Rainbow Birch to Hellbark, Willow, Fir, Mahogany, Redwood, Umbran and the Magic Tree, along with autumn and cherry variants, Dark Poplar, Spruce Poplar and the dying, dead and burnt versions. Origin Oak is deliberately left with its classic look, and Mangrove stays untouched because there is no mangrove wood to work with.
With Dynamic Trees Plus installed, Toadstool and Glowshroom mushrooms join the list as well. Everything here can be tuned through Tree Packs, from how the individual trees behave to how they are generated, which makes it straightforward for a modpack to adjust growth and worldgen to taste. Dynamic Trees and Biomes O’ Plenty both need to be present for the add-on to work.
