Tweaked Adventure is a collection of fixes and options aimed at the Adventure Update era of Minecraft, with supported versions running from Beta 1.8.1 through to 1.2.5. Part of it applies straight away: block breaking times are corrected across every block, the fancy tree height bug is fixed, snow layers can be placed on leaves, pigs drop extra porkchops so they line up with the other mobs, and sprinting keeps working while flying.
Terrain gets the most attention. Beta 1.7 passive mob spawning and Beta 1.7 ore generation can both be brought back, hill biomes add height variation, and a preset picker decides whether the world uses Beta 1.8, 1.1, 1.3 or hybrid biome height values. Smaller world generation switches cover forests appearing in the middle of plains, snowy taigas turning up in ice plains at an adjustable chance, snow sitting under leaves or replacing tall grass, lush green swamp colours, and oak saplings in swamps growing into swamp trees. On 1.2.5 the Default 1.1 world type becomes selectable again.
The rest is gameplay tuning pulled from later releases. Combat changes from 1.0.0, hunger values from release 1.11 and the experience curves and enchanting system from 1.3 with a level 30 cap can all be backported, and the experience bar itself offers several label styles. Crafting is lighter too, with cheaper recipes for items such as slabs and ladders, stackable signs and doors, optional plank variants, and smaller touches like zombie pigmen dropping cooked porkchops or optional passive mob despawning. Everything optional lives in a single config file, so a world can take as much or as little of the mod as it wants on Fabric and Ornithe.
