More Music Discs turns the jukebox into a reason to keep exploring by adding a set of custom music discs to the game. Every track is included with permission from the creator who made it, so each record you find is new music for your world.
The discs turn up in three places: hidden in chest loot, as rare drops from specific mobs, or straight from the dedicated creative tab when you simply want to listen. Because the new records are added to loot tables that already exist, they reward the exploring and mob hunting you were doing anyway.
All of that distribution is adjustable. One switch decides whether the mod touches loot tables at all, and a list in the configuration defines exactly which discs go into which loot table and how likely they are to show up. A drop chance is written as a plain number, so a value of two gives each listed disc a fifty percent chance, while entity loot tables also accept a special rule that makes a disc drop only when the mob is killed by a skeleton. You can edit everything in game or directly in the JSON config file.
