Ore Tweaker is an extremely small utility mod that hands underground generation over to plain JSON files. Ore features can be added, removed or rebalanced without touching code, and the same mod runs on a client and on a server alike.

Configuration sits in the oretweaker data folder inside the config directory. Every ore gets its own file, so opening the coal ore file is enough to change how coal spawns, and new files can be created for ores that do not have one yet.

Running the mod alongside World Stripper is recommended for debugging and testing what a new ore generation file actually produced. The Forge build targets Minecraft 1.9.4 and the download stays tiny at around 0.01 MB.
