Regions Unexplored is a biome mod that reworks how the Overworld and the Nether generate. With 64 new biomes in the rotation, walking in any direction runs into landscapes that vanilla Minecraft never produces, which gives long journeys and freshly created worlds a reason to keep going.
The new regions bring a plethora of new blocks and items along with them, so exploring turns up more than scenery. There is no complete biome list to read ahead of time, which means most of the discovery still happens in game, one unfamiliar horizon at a time.
Current builds need Lithostitched 1.7.9 or newer, with Fabric API on top when running on Fabric. Older releases took a different route and depended on Terrablender, plus Forge Config API Port on the Fabric side.
