Rustic Delight picks up where Farmer’s Delight leaves off, adding crops, blocks and food items that stay true to the tone of the original mod and to vanilla Minecraft. Every feature is configurable, so anything that does not fit your pack can simply be switched off while the rest keeps working.

Pancakes are the centrepiece. Combine the new Batter and Syrup and you get a stack you can set down at home as a decorative block, eat one serving at a time with a right-click, or cut with a knife to take a slice on the road. Six flavours are available, from classic and honey through cherry blossom, chocolate and pumpkin to a healthy vegetable variant, each one granting a different bonus effect, and you can eat up to six servings.

Coffee is the other headline. A brewed cup leaves you moving, digging and attacking faster thanks to Speed and Haste, and Golden Coffee Beans turn that into a proper Haste potion. Bell peppers arrive in red, yellow and green for dishes like Stuffed Bell Pepper and Bell Pepper Pasta and can be cut into slices to stretch your ingredients further, while the jungle hides wild bell peppers and wild coffee for anyone willing to explore. Cotton in the forests finally supplies String, Paper and Canvas without a spider farm, and its seeds become Cooking Oil in the Cooking Pot for fried food such as Spring Rolls, Fruit Beignet and Fried Chicken.

The sea gets its turn too. Squids and Glow Squids now drop Calamari, which can be cooked and sliced into Fried Calamari, rolled into a Calamari Roll for sushi lovers, or built up into the Rice Roll Royale feast. Cross-mod support rounds it off: dishes can sit on a Brewin’ and Chewin’ coaster, and the mod also works with Botany Pots, Serene Seasons and Thirst Was Taken.
