Diagonal Windows is a simple mod with a noticeable effect on how a build looks. Every type of glass pane and iron bar can now connect diagonally, so a run of panes or bars follows a diagonal line instead of breaking into steps.
Compatibility with other mods is handled automatically. Panes and bars added by other mods are picked up dynamically wherever that is possible, and if a block ends up connecting diagonally when it should not, adding it to the mod’s non-diagonal windows block tag switches the behaviour off for that block alone.
The mod is required on both the client and the server, so it behaves the same in singleplayer and on a shared world. Settings can be changed from an in-game configuration screen or by editing the config files with an external text editor, and it fits alongside Diagonal Fences and Diagonal Walls for a consistent look across every kind of connecting block.
