Biome Particle Weather rebuilds the way weather looks in Minecraft. It swaps the game’s old weather rendering for particle effects that change with the biome you are standing in, so a storm no longer looks the same wherever you happen to be.
New effects come with it. Wind sweeps across the terrain, sandstorms roll through, and the Nether gets weather of its own. If the built-in set is not enough, a simple resource pack is all it takes to add particles you have made yourself.
Because everything happens on the client, you can install it on your own copy and join a server without the server needing the mod at all. Shader users are covered too: with Complementary shaders, enabling compatibility mode along with waving in compatibility mode stops the particles rendering fullbright, though it does switch off some of the shader’s other features. Built for Fabric on Minecraft 1.21.1.
