Vanilla building runs short of small parts quickly. Decorative Blocks fills that gap with a compact set of rustic pieces: bonfires and braziers for light, thatch and palisades for rough structures, wooden beams and stone pillars for framing, and chandeliers to hang above it all.
Several of the blocks come from unusual recipes rather than a plain crafting grid. A bonfire is lit by tossing blaze powder into an ordinary fire, thatch behaves almost like a fluid and is cut out of a hay bale with shears then cleared away with a hoe, and both the chandelier and rocky dirt reverse craft back into four torches and four dirt. Bonfires, braziers and chandeliers all have soul fire variants as well.
Some additions do more than decorate. Big chains can be climbed, bar panels and lattices work as trapdoors, and wooden seats are used by right clicking to sit down. Seats and supports carry extra placement states that appear in a tooltip when shift is held, while the bonfire activator can be swapped through an item tag and the thatch feature turned off with a gamerule.
