Sun and Moon Celestial Configuration is a small visual mod built around a single idea: the sun and the moon do not have to stay the size Minecraft gives them. A config controls how large each one is drawn, so a world can get a swollen sun sinking on the horizon or a moon that takes up a good part of the night sky, without anything else in the game changing.
The scaling is handled with multipliers, and the sun and the moon each get their own pair for height and width. That means the two celestial bodies are adjusted individually, and because the two axes are separate values you can stretch one rather than simply making it bigger, which is enough to give a world a sky that reads as distinctly its own.
Nothing happens until you ask for it. The default settings leave both bodies at their vanilla size, so adding the mod to an existing NeoForge setup on Minecraft 1.21.1 changes nothing at all until the config is edited, and every number can be set back later. The mod only touches how the sky is drawn, which keeps it an unobtrusive visual tweak rather than a change to how the game plays.
