Straw Statues keeps its idea refreshingly simple: one item that, once placed in the world, stands there as a player model made from straw. That resemblance is no accident. Open the statue configuration screen and you can hand the figure any skin you like, turning a decorative prop into a recognisable character standing in your build.
From there the statue is fully dressable and poseable. Equip it with gear, set the pose by hand or pick one of the built-in poses, and switch to the rotations or alignments screen when a finer adjustment is needed. Statues can also be moved around with ease after placing, so rearranging a scene never means rebuilding it from scratch.
A broad set of options rounds the mod out, all editable in-game through the mod menu. It has to be installed on both the client and the server, and Puzzles Lib is required alongside it. This build targets Minecraft 1.21.1 on NeoForge, and it fits naturally into any build that could use a few more inhabitants.
