Snow falls on Java Edition trees without leaving a mark: the canopy keeps its summer green straight through the heaviest blizzard. Bedrock Edition handles it differently, letting leaves whiten as the weather rolls in, and this small mod brings that same behaviour over. While it is snowing the leaves shift towards white bit by bit, and once the sky clears they drift back to their usual colour.
The change is a visual one, aimed at how a snowy Minecraft world looks rather than at how it plays. That makes it an easy pick for winter builds, snowy screenshots and any pack that leans on seasonal atmosphere, and the effect simply follows the weather wherever snow happens to fall.
It runs on Fabric and Quilt with the matching Fabric API in place, and the file itself is only a fraction of a megabyte. Install it on both the client and the server rather than on the client alone, since that mismatch is where the effect is known to cause problems.
