Items Displayed is built for players who want to show off their loot rather than bury it in chests. Instead of flat item frames, your treasures can sit in the world as detailed 3D models, making it easy to decorate a base, a museum room or a blacksmith workshop with the things you have collected.
Placing an item is simple: hold it in your hand, sneak and right-click. There is nothing to craft or configure first. The mod currently includes models for all pottery sherds, smithing templates, ingots and more, all made to blend in with the vanilla Minecraft look.
If leaving items on the ground does not feel right, the mod also adds the Item Display, crafted with sticks. It behaves like an Armor Stand but can be turned to any angle rather than only 45 degree steps, and it holds all sherds and smithing templates.
The mod has been tested for compatibility, so it should run alongside most other mods unless they heavily change how items work. More displayable items are planned for future updates.
