Encased Fluid Pipes is a small add-on for Create Aeronautics that fills an obvious gap: the mod already had envelope-encased shafts, and this adds the fluid pipe equivalent. You can now wrap your Create fluid pipes inside hot air envelope blocks and route liquids straight through the body of an airship.
The key benefit is that an encased pipe still counts as airtight balloon volume. The hot air stays sealed through the pipe, so your fuel lines and fluid networks no longer punch holes in the lifting envelope of your flying machine.
Every one of the 16 dye colors from Create Aeronautics is supported. Right-click a placed pipe with a dye to recolor it without breaking anything, or sneak and use a wrench to remove just the envelope casing, which goes back into your inventory and leaves a plain pipe behind.
Each block is crafted from a fluid pipe plus the matching colored envelope block. The encased pipes behave like the envelopes themselves, including the bounce when you land on them and the familiar break, place and hit sounds. Create and Create Aeronautics are required.
