Ok Boomer is a lightweight zoom mod with a sense of humor, calling its zoom booming. Hold the zoom key, which is C by default, to get a closer look at the world, and use the scroll wheel to set exactly how far in you want to go. The zoom is smooth rather than a sudden jump.
What makes it different is screen zoom. With any screen open, such as your inventory, press Ctrl, Shift and the zoom key together and the whole interface is enlarged. It works on almost every screen, with the loading screen being the notable exception for now.
Settings are customizable where it counts, including an option to remove the zoom limits entirely in either direction. There are also at least two somewhat hidden features left for players to find on their own.
