Features:
- Renders negative item stack amounts that are normally not drawn
- Makes zero and negative stack counts readable at a glance
- Useful as a visualization while creating 0 and negative stacks
- Works on versions from 1.3.0 up to 1.12.2
- Mainly aimed at the 1.3 to 1.5 range
- Does nothing between 1.8.0 and 1.12.0, where negative stacks already render
- On 1.12.1 and 1.12.2 it stops the render from skipping stack sizes of 0 or less
- Uses a getter instead of a field access on 1.12.1 and 1.12.2
- Behaves the same way across all other supported versions
- Version 1.0.0 draws a 1 on single items while 1.0.1 leaves it off
- Legacy Fabric support

Itemless is a small rendering tweak aimed at the stack counts the game normally leaves blank. Older builds skip drawing the number entirely once a stack sits at zero or below, so nothing on screen tells you what such a slot really holds. This mod draws the real figure instead, which turns those hidden states into something you can read at a glance.
The supported range runs from 1.3.0 to 1.12.2, with the 1.3 to 1.5 era as the main target, since that is where making 0 and negative stacks is the whole point. In the 1.8.0 to 1.12.0 range it deliberately stays out of the way, since the game already renders those counts by itself. On 1.12.1 and 1.12.2 it has a little more work to do: it keeps the renderer from skipping stack sizes of zero or less and reads the value through a getter rather than a direct field, but the visible result is the same as everywhere else.
How the numbers look is partly a matter of taste. The first release printed a 1 on single items, while the later one leaves that off, on the reasoning that a lone 1 is simply unnecessary. It stays a tiny Legacy Fabric addition focused purely on the display, giving you a clearer view of what your inventory is really holding.
