Firmalife is a cooking and farming addon built on top of TerraFirmaCraft, aiming to add depth and realism to its food systems while widening the menu players actually have to eat from. Many features from older 1.7.10 TerraFirmaCraft addons have been brought over into it, so the mod feels fresh and nostalgic at the same time.
Cooking runs through a brick oven that bakes bread, pizza and other treats, backed by modular oven appliances covering grilling, boiling and similar systems. Bread making becomes an advanced process built around yeast, chocolate can be produced from scratch, and cheesemaking stretches to six different types depending on the animal and the preparation used.
Keeping food usable matters as much as making it. Greenhouses let crops grow through winter, cellars store what you harvest, and fruit can be jarred or dried for preservation, while meat and cheese can be smoked the way they were in TerraFirmaCraft Classic. Beekeeping adds breeding and genetics, and lighter touches like pumpkin carving for fancy jack o’ lanterns, plates for immersive eating and vegan foods such as pineapple leather and tofu fill out the rest.
Everything is wired into JEI and datapacks, so recipes stay discoverable in game and remain easy for pack authors to adjust. This release targets Minecraft 1.12.2 on Forge.
