Barbeque’s Delight builds out the barbecue side of Farmer’s Delight in Minecraft with a complete skewer workflow: a set of skewers, seasonings that change what happens when you eat them, and the blocks needed to prepare the lot. Farmer’s Delight itself is required, and every recipe can be looked up in JEI if you would rather read than guess.
Making a skewer starts at the ingredients basin. Right-click to drop the ingredients in, keep a stick in your main hand with the side ingredient held in the other, then right-click the ingredient in the basin to assemble the skewer; anything that needs no side ingredient is made with an empty off hand instead. From there the skewer goes onto the grill. Place it, wait for the smoke to grow thick, sneak and right-click to flip it, then right-click once more when it is done to take it out. Miss the flip or leave it sitting too long and you end up with a burnt skewer.
Seasonings are the finishing step, and each one pulls in a different direction. Put a grilled skewer on a cutting board and right-click it with the seasoning to sprinkle it on. Cumin heals you when the skewer is eaten, pepper doubles your eating speed, and chili damages you but can be eaten even with a full hunger bar. The seasonings themselves are obtained by trading with a butcher.
