Ars Nouveau’s Flavors & Delight brings the cooking loop of Farmer’s Delight to the ingredients of Ars Nouveau. More than 49 dishes are built from magical produce and mob drops, spread across ten block foods, nine drinks, seven platters, four soups and sauces, seven snacks and twelve meats and skewers, so a magic-focused playthrough finally has a kitchen to match it.
Seven new ingredients feed the recipe book. Flourishing, Vexing, Cascading and Blazing barks join the pantry, Wilden Hunters and Chimeras drop meat when they are killed with a knife, and a Chimera brought down with an axe leaves its horn behind. Drygmy farming also works with the Enchanter’s Knife, which helps when ingredients are needed in bulk.
What sets this food apart is that it feeds straight back into spellcasting. Blast Resistance cuts incoming explosion damage, Freezing Spell makes your spell damage inflict freezing, Flourishing restores mana whenever you heal, Synchronized Shield turns healing into absorption up to four hearts, and the Wilden effect raises maximum mana, mana restoration and spell damage at once. The largest dishes, such as the Wilden Salad and Honey Glazed Chimera feasts along with the pies and jellies, are block foods rather than ordinary hotbar snacks.
