Universal Bone Meal fills in the gaps where bone meal really should work but simply does not. Rather than applying one generic growth boost everywhere, each supported plant reacts in its own way, so the item keeps feeling like a natural part of farming instead of a blunt shortcut.
The new behaviours are wired into dispensers as well, so automated setups benefit from them too. Coral and sweet berry bushes are among the plants that gain a reaction, and if a particular interaction does not suit your world it can be switched off on its own while the rest of the mod keeps working.
The mod is required on both the client and the server, so it fits singleplayer worlds and shared servers alike. Configuration is available from an in-game screen or by editing the config files with an external text editor, which makes it easy to tune inside a larger modpack.
