Kaf’s Valentine Special began as a Valentine’s Day celebration and grew into a set of cookies and themed extras you can use in any world. The heart of it is a line-up of 20 cookies, each carrying its own flavour and its own effects, so picking a cookie becomes a way to pick the effect you want rather than simply topping up the hunger bar.
The ingredients come from a new crop chain. Breaking tall grass can turn up Cotton Candy Seeds, and those seeds grow into Cotton Candy that you can eat right away or turn into the Special Chocolate Cookie. Cotton Candy also goes into the Lovey Dovey Infuser, which reprocesses any cookie from the mod into an infused version whose effects hit noticeably harder.
Around the food sits a handful of themed extras. Aristea is a new flower that generates randomly in the world, the Lovely Potion comes with its own recipe and effect, and players can hand out headpats to their friends. The build here runs on NeoForge for Minecraft 1.21.1 and needs the Architectury API and the Amber library in place, with more cookies, a Forge port and 1.20.1 backports on the roadmap.
