Creepy Decorations turns an ordinary build into something unsettling. It adds a set of horror-themed decorative props made to give a haunted house, a cursed village or a nightmare adventure map the right tone, so the atmosphere comes from the details of the build itself.
Each of the six decorations tells its own story. The Haunted Pumpkin puts a sinister twist on the classic gourd, the Broken Doll stares blankly from a shelf, and the Mossy Gravestone and Old Wooden Cross fill out forgotten graveyards and ruined chapels. Underground, the Leg Shackle bolts prisoners to dungeon floors while the Emerging Hand claws its way up through the dirt.
Every block is craftable with vanilla items, and the recipes are readable in JEI, so the whole set can be put together in survival instead of pulled from the creative menu. That makes it an easy fit for horror-themed modpacks such as Cave Horror Project, and for builders and map-makers who want a darker mood in their worlds.
