Raid dens bring one of the best known Pokemon activities into Cobblemon. Raid crystals generate throughout the overworld across seven tiers, and each one opens an epic battle against a mighty raid Pokemon in the style of the main series games. The base mod covers Cobblemon from Tier 1 through Tier 5, and more can be added on top of it.
Raids are built for a group. The first trainer to join becomes the host and decides who else gets in, and everyone taking part is moved into a separate dimension where the boss is waiting. Each player fights their own battle simultaneously, yet the boss keeps a single health pool that is synced between all of them, so the damage the team deals adds up. A trainer whose Pokemon faints is locked out of the rest of the fight but still receives the rewards once the raid is cleared.
A win lets you catch the boss in the Pokeball you picked and hands out a Raid Pouch full of random items on top of it. The mod is fully configurable, and datapacks can define entirely new raid bosses, custom dens or pools of dens, raid spawn buckets and scripted events that make a fight harder. Optional hooks add Tera, Dynamax and Mega raids with the matching addons, currency payouts, an AI configuration for raid bosses, and raid details shown through Jade or WTHIT. The mod runs on NeoForge for Minecraft 1.21.1 and needs GeckoLib, and since it is still in beta it is worth backing up a world before adding it.
