Traveler’s Titles turns ordinary travel into something closer to an RPG. Walk into a new biome or step through into another dimension in Minecraft and its name appears on screen as a title, so arriving somewhere feels like an event. It is a simple client-side mod, which means it can go on one client without anything being installed on the server.
Almost every part of the title is yours to set. Text size, colour, on-screen location and how long it lasts are all customizable, and any dimension or biome you would rather not see announced can be blacklisted. Built-in titles already cover a long list of modded dimensions, including Twilight Forest, Atum, Bumblezone and Lost Cities, and every modded biome is supported out of the box because biome titles reuse the same lang entries those biomes already ship with.
Both text and sound can be extended with a small resource pack. Separate custom sounds can play when you enter a new dimension, a new biome or a waystone region, and lang entries let you write your own dimension and biome titles or override the configured text colour for a specific one with an RGB hex value. There is Waystones support as well, displaying a waystone’s own title when you get close to it, on Forge for 1.18 and newer.
Two debug commands preview biome and dimension titles in a singleplayer world if you have sufficient permissions, which makes tuning the look far quicker than travelling out to find each one. This build needs YUNG’s API installed alongside it, runs on NeoForge for Minecraft 1.21.1 and is a 0.22 MB download.
